He's Getting Married!

Bachalor’s Nite

Attended a bachelor’s nite for Alvin @ Balaclava. Hmmm… when was the last time we met up? More than 5 mths ago!
He’s getting married on 9 Dec in Melaka but I cannot make it!!!! Sobz!!! I so much wanted to attend! So happy for him that he's long time gf agreed to marry him.
He's been a very good friend and ex colleague who looked out for me and taught me a lot of things. even though we dun catch up often, there wasnt any awkward moments.
As what Khim says: He's a very Sincere friend.
It would be so much fun going up to Melaka with Khim & Mary … but sigh… I got my own things to settle and it clashes…
I still recall my trip with Khim to Batu Pahut some time ago … it was great fun and I missed it so much. I wanna do it again sometime soon! Onz ma Khim?

Chalet
Left early as I gotta go for a chalet at Pasir Ris. My dearest Khim accompanied me to take train all the way to Tampines so that we could catch up. I’m so happy! I love the times we spent together, just catching up, bitching, gossiping or planning for future events.
Hahah this time round, we planned to go Bintan after CNY. <><><><>!!!! (all the people we included in our plan, hahaha ….Hope it will come true.)

Sweet old Sam picked me up from the MRT… he refrained from drinking so that he would be sober to fetch me. Felt so guilty as I myself was a bit high from drinking.
Upon reaching, they were playing in between and I wanted to join in. We were supposed to put 10cents each as the base pool. And I was whispering to Jasmine: “Eh, tell u something I dun have 10cents lei, but I have a Tampon in my pocket” And she burst out laughing hysterically. The rest demanded to know what I said to her and I refused to tell them... I gave in and told SH and the next moment everyone was laughing, then I realized Jasmine has announced while I was whispering to SH! Pengz!!! super Paiseh lo.
But surprisingly, even the guys took it quite well.. I guess we’re all matured adults liao hahah (If it was in Sec school days, it wouldn’t be as normal)

Stress

I'm back to blog!!!!

After 3 days of stress.... of juggling AP & learning GL (haven finish though), I really just hope she could hand over properly. Haiz.... i really dun feel like gg to work since the start of this week
But at least, i'm very glad to have other helpful colleagues in my dept!

Finally.... I finished filling up my the most important part of my appraisal today! Yeah yeah yeah!
One of the required fields: State at least 3 accomplishments..
tough lei *ponders* hmm hmmm hmmmm......

1.Managed to stick around in the company till today awaiting for AWS!
2.Remembered to bring my security passcard 90% of my working days!
3.Managed not to burst my medical reimbursment covered till date!
4.I'm taking up some office space so as to maximize the full use the office rental paid! not to mention the computer, printer to make depreciation worthwhile!
5.Took on additional PR role on top of my existing work scope for free. (cost savings to the company)
Eg: Taking long lunches/ gossiping with colleagues when bosses are not around==> this is to enable bonding, part of HR's job too isnt it?

There! It wasnt that hard to list down afterall. =)

Over the long weekend, in my lonely office... something unexplanable happened.

Late for work, was rushing something urgent for my CFO when suddenly.......

Out of the corner of my eye.....I noticed my smiley face dolly turned green.... Am I still sleeping???

My workplace was invaded by an alien!!!!
Eh luckily... my smiley face's still there.. unscathed and still smiling away.....*siao ah Linda! the smile is fixed one leh*


Heck, who was the culprit??
I asked around but it wasn't them... hmmm... I will get to the bottom of this.

But.. its very cute hor? With its antenna and the words "I'm an alien!" (哇! 我好怕阿!!!)
I shall find out who this mystery person is....
Nice surprise though.

Met up with Khim & Derek to go to Costume House to browse for costume.

So we headed to Bali Lane to check out another costume house My initial wish was to wear a “Kai1 Xin1 Gui3” Happy ghost costume. Imagine the 2 super rosy cheeks whahahah cute hor? But they dun have… =(
