Mini Meet Up
After wine shopping, we had an impromtu meet up to have dinner with my 2 aunties in law.
I like it a lot.. coz nowadays.. i only get to see them usually once or twice a year...
Throughout the whole meetup.. i get to hear funny andedotes of whats happening right now, the way they describe was hilarious.
I suddenly miss my childhood.. where so many of us would gather occassionally and have these family bonding and hilarious moments..
I think it all stop when my parents started up their shop... it seemed to die down from there as they are working 7 days a week. No time for such gatherings unless they all go to my parents shop.
My little cousins (my youngest uncle's daughters)
posing for me as we waited outside for my aunt in law to open the door. We would have waited for even longer coz we din know their doorbell was not working!!! Luckily my uncle happened to open the door and saw us. FAINT!
This uncle of mine.. he's my fav uncle.. wonderful family man and he loves to rear fish, bird, tortise, etc. some of his Koi fish comes with cert!
And everytime I went to his house when i was younger, he would ask me if i want? he'll give it to me..
He even has a fishtank built into a wall... which i love so much!
Guess wat he offered me this time??? (its been bout 3 years since i last went to his house)

Having some 'me' time right now.. heheheh so I'm gonna blog a bit more before I bury my head.....
Ever since my Fav aunt knew CX and I chill out together at home with glasses of red wine...she has been suggesting to bring us out to get red wine at some shops she discovered since... 2-3 mths ago?? But due to our tight weekend schedule.. we were always clashing with each other..
So finally.. D day arrives:
Total # of Red Wine boughtin all : 14!!!!
Just realised that my aunt love to have her sat night drinking red wine & chilling out with her husband too.. guess she's excited that we are similar to her. hahaha
Look at the back seat of her car.... only after the 1st wine shopping at Jurong.
I prefer the second shop though... situated at Bukit Timah..
After much struggle to pay her, we lost..

Morning!!
Good Morning My friends!
I'm surprised I'm up so early. Given I slept so late last night. haha
Maybe its out of guilt bah.. since I wasnt sleepy any more.. might as well wake up to help with the housework ya?
I'm ashamed to say I've haven really done any housework for the past few weeks, CX has been too sweet to do everything, from doing the laundry to folding the clothes to ironing(my duty roster) to sweeping and mopping (his roster) and washing up the dishes (both's duty roster).
Oh my God! I've been a real slacker! *Hangs head in shame*
I am a lousy wifey... thats bad bad bad!!!
Maybe I'll surprise him with the house swept clean and mopped.(his duty roster)
But here I am.. blogging away... a real procastinator.
Cx's now at his usual sat morning soccer game with the boys at amk.
they're a bunch of nice ppl and funny too.
Okie okie.. i'm gg to sweep the floor right now!!
Coz later we're gg to meet my aunt for Wine shopping!!!!

Brainless conversation-Romantic or not???
We were having a brainless conversation at work bout men....
One of my colleague was saying that romantic men are usually untrustworthy. Reason because.. they are flirty by nature.. hmmm.. is it true?
To some extend i agree....maybe coz i've experienced it myself. I had experienced married guys flirting with me.. and i feel very disgusted by their actions. And it always make me a tad frightened "what if one day CX also like that"
So i was saying: heng ah.. CX not very romantic... haha .. coz he doesnt say sweet nothings..
CX find that worthless... he used to tell this to me when i complained that he doesnt know how to sweet talk..." wats most important is wat he does.. not wat he says. If I want him to tell me sweet nothing all the time.. can.. but end of the day.. wats the real use of it? Action speaks louder than words... " which now i really can see he's a great guy and his action really speaks a lot.
My boss was making a comment bout he knows how to sew.. just that his wife wants to do it all the time as she finds it her responsbility and also an act of showing her love. Upon hearing this, I felt very ashamed and went: huh.. is it really the wife's duty to sew for the husband? coz CX always ask me not to sew in case i prick my fingers.. and he always do it for my clothes instead."
Colleague A: Wah! then u still say CX not romantic?
My boss: wah.. he really spoil market for the guys.. this is one of the many many things i find that he really pampers u too much.
In defence.. I went: helping me to mend clothes is classified romantic ah?
Scarli he scared I prick my fingers and then cannot help out with the housework or do the laundry ma.. maybe its for his own benefit...
or maybe he wanna save up, then coz then if i prick my fingers and need to use A HANDIPLUS.. then few cents spent... ke-ching!....he heart pain.
Then u all say he so nice... maybe he got inner motves! hahaha
To which they cannot stand me... : You always use ur smart brain for the wrong reasons! hahaha You're too quick wit for us.
hahaha okie la.. i know CX's very nice la..i realised in lots of everyday things... he always think of my well being as top priority.... just that cheeky me always like to disturb him ma... think if he ever read my blog.. he'll faint. haha

Mambo Jumbo
Its been..... dunno how long ever since i went to Mambo at Zouk.
Think the last time was when i was in Poly? and the whole place was packed like sardines?
This time.. i went with Khim & Dan drinking and catch up session.
When one of our friends knew bout this.. he commented.. aiyo.. aunties go there scare little boys. hahah

Do u recall we used to dance in the same manner? Similar to line dancing... as in with identical actions to the lyrics of the songs? I forgot all about it until i saw the scene again. Brought back fun memories.
I recall a friend wanted to choreograph dance moves so that we could show off at years ago at a club when it was still at specialist shopping center (gosh.. i cant even recall wats the name!!!)
haha those were the days.. we clubbed almost every week!!! I think i wasnt even 21 yrs old then....
I found it! It was Ridleys!!!!!!! And suddenly i recall there was a guy whom i had a crush on who frequent it every week too! There was once he asked for my number while i was on my way to the ladies and I was so happy inside. But didnt do so as i was terrified my ex bf would find out. hahaha And we would just dance to the music near each other on the dance floor and even though sometimes we were far apart... he'll always manage to dance till we are near each other..come to think of it.. i find it hilarous now.
anyway.. this was what i saw... a guy standing on the platform with memorised action to all the songs!

Had a catch up session with my Sec sch friends... and we sang past mid night. On a Thu Night.
It was fun and enjoyable! Esp when we tried on the self timer for group pic and had to run back to pose.
Shall catch up again soon! It relishes me of the fun we had at sec sch. Miss the gals!
And this happened the following day.

I look stupid in the videos clips! *buries head in the sand*
I had a bad sore throat the following day.

Funny Idea
Was on my way home on the train just now....ppl around me look so tired...
i suddenly thought of something I wanted to do badly, but i need a partner?
Who will play with me???
I wanna do it on a weekday in the mist of a rush hour gg to work.
You: (will have to stand in the middle of the cabin, holding a handrail)
Me: (will be seated just in front of you)
And the train muz be super crowded...
Me: (takes out my phone and calls you)
You: (pick up my call)
Me: Hello!!! Morning! How are you?
You: Hi there! I'm fine! what bout you?
Me: I'm doing good too! How's (your partner's name)
You: Glad to know that! (Your partner's name) is good! We just came back from a holiday in Genting.
Me: Wow! so shiok, muz be fun! It sounds noisy, where r u?
You:I'm on my way to work in a train.
Me: Oh.. Me too! which station are u at?
You: (Toa Payoh) Toa Payoh.
Me: Wow! Me too! Scarli we are on the same train. haha
You: Really? Wat colour cabin are u in?
Me: Green
You: Really? I'm also in the green cabin.
Me: What colour top are u wearing?
You: White (or any colour u were wearing that day)
Me: (looks around, turning my head obviously) nope, can see you!
You: I cant see you either! Maybe we're on a diff train. why not we get off and meet at Somerset Mrt? We'll take the train together and catch up on the way.
You: Starts to walk to the door on the left
Me: Sounds good! (stands up and walks to the door on the right)
I think.. the sleepy passengers will be wake awake by now.. and be very amused
and smiling secretly to themselves thinkin.. these 2 ppl are goners! They're right in front of each other and yet they nvr see each other.
I think more of.. they'll think we're crazy. Wat are these 2 ppl trying to do, trying to be funny?
But hey, at least we made them smile?
What if one of the strangers tap wither one of us and goes.. cant u see her???
