Long Weekend

After a durian feast on thu... Fri was a no work self declare leave (that is, i told my colleagues after the durian feast that i wun be gg to work on fri) haha they encouraged me.. since I had leave to clear.

Slept till late in the friday afternoon, and got ready for a chalet weekend.

Gosh... come to think of it, its been years since i went to a chalet for a weekend.

We brought our mini 14 inch TV over so that we could play both Wii & PS2 at the same time, which turned out to be a good idea.

After a short trip of 5 big men and a lady squeezing in a lancer, we reached! I dont think we could have been able to take it if the journey was longer.

Once we settled down, i started playing Wii. I muz say that its really very fun. Especially the boxing game. In which CX was astonished that I could KO so many at one try. Didnt he know he married an abusive wife??? hhahaha

It could really get u tired & wanna koonz after the game. And thanks to my love for the game, my arms are hurting so bad right now. Its really even more funny when u look at people playing.

Went on a road trip to JB and guess what CX & I got? Our long awaited and searched for PS4!

yeah! Its definately lots cheaper than in Spore. Thereafter whacked a seafood feast + other side dishes which left me super duper bloated which only cost RM17 each. Followed by a shopping spree at Giant for the BBQ on Sat.

I muz say that CX is a very good and steady driver given its the1st time he drove in to JB.

An overdosed of BBQ dinner resulting from too much food bought. I now dont think I'm looking forward to BBQ food in the near future. *vomits* Its very scary when u have to play rounds of games in order to clear the excess food.

I was too busy eating to take pics for frens. The better pics are from the other 2 cameras.

I think I'm gonna get food explosion from my thu durian feast, to my fri seafood feast to my sat bbq feast.

hmmm.. today super lobo..

met up with colleagues at 9 plus to have macdonald's breakfast at Tampines mall.. and take our own sweet time to go Communicasia.
while our CFO has been waiting for us at the entrance.. haha

Took about 3 hours walking thru halls 1-6.. so half day gone!

I like the LG Prada! nice! $1500.....but i think for my clumsiness, it might not last me long.

This year, i find that the models are not as pretty as those I've seen 2 years back.
But there's quite witty uniforms:


reached office bout 2plus after lunch and had no mood to work... coz awaiting for a DURIAN FEAST (finally) with my colleagues after work!!!

and on the way to eat.. i decided to declare myself a leave day tomorrow.

I looked at the photos.. and had this realisation.

LADY

I love being called a lady, it makes me feel... like I'm somewhat grown up, respected and yet not old..
I think.. it sounds more posh.. as compared to being called a girl or a woman.. haha

I dunno why but it just gives me an ego boost when people introduced me or addresses me or referred me as a lady.
Especially by my superiors and friends.
wait wait.. let me go check what does 'lady' means

My wonderful chef gave me a shock today. ...

I guess its the 2nd time i witness this situation, the 1st one was when we were overseas and he was trying to cook a meal for me as i laid sick in bed unaccostumed to the weather there a year plus ago???

Moral of the story...

do NOT run water over a very hot wok immediately after cooking..

hahah.. Attended a wedding dinner last night.. and i introduced my younger bro to Red Wine.

He was asking my husband if he had been drunk before... blah blah blah..
to which my husband replied yes and got scolded by taxi uncle all the way back to his house coz he puked in the taxi.

I told my brother, actually, when u drink till high high, you feel like you can fly one.. like floating.
But after 1 1/2 glasses, my bro exclaim no feeling.. so then i say: you muz drink fast fast.. and big glups.. then u will reach the "seh' stage very fast.
And if your face becomes red after drinking, means your blood circulation very good.

Upon hearing this, he downed the red wine real fast, and my aunt happened to see it: Aiyo! Red wine cannot drink like that one! Later you will get drunk and puke. Suppose to sip one.....

The next moment, my mum turned around and looked at him and started nagging all the way ... non stop till on the way home!
"wait u drop dead .. want me to carry u home ah? wait u vomit how? drink so fast like that will die one u know? who told u face red means blood circulation very good? etc etc etc...."

er.... lucky he never " bao doh" me hahah


This morning, I smsed him if he had a hangover, he haughtily replied: nothing.. need more glasses to be drunk.

I promised him that I'll drink with him when he comes my house to stay, then we'll see how many glasses he can take b4 he gets really drunk. haha
