being quite close to him when he was in the Finance team, i decided to make it all the way up to KL to attend his wedding.
This decision resulted in CX & me foregoing a mini honeymoon to Taiwan and had a minimoon in bangkok instead.
We'll be treating this 1 night in KL as our 2nd mini moon
I do hope Daryl feels honored .. hehehe

In the coach with some colleagues
Can u imagine the journey from SG to KL took freaking 8.5 hours??? And most of the jam time was way before we reached 2nd link! The coach left at 8am.. and we reached KL at 4.30pm
trying to get a little shopping done at KLCC within 2 hours.

The best part was soaking in the bathtub & watching TV at the same time.
I've not stayed in such a open concept toilet hotel room before... but i dun think i'm the only one:
Interesting extracts of colleagues sharing room:
S: (in the toilet) Hey T, i can see you from the bathroom u know!
T:*faints* (at the sofa) I also can see you from here! U better close the wooden shutter when u are using the bathroom!
S: Oh is it? I thought it was a mirror, can see outside from the bathroom, but cannot see from outside.
T: *exasperate* (sticks hand through the opening...) see???? it's an opening!!!!
S: oh..... heheheh
